a dear friend was telling me that today we are able to capture the surrounding reality with video and audio... Just think - he was saying to me - when we will be able to capture olfactory sensations in an audio-video file!!??
Well... it's not bad.
Imagine looking at a photo of a sunset while smelling the scent carried by the sea breeze, or the smell of a photo taken inside a butcher shop, or on a path immersed in fog... once I noticed that even a piano showroom has its own characteristic smell....

This thing was experimented with via a sort of "cartridge printer" (let's say that instead of toner there were four vials with attached spray?), by mixing different essences they tried to reconstruct aromas read by a digital nose.
... and then just think how much the cartridges would cost you if your beautiful lady used Chanel No. 5
