Hi, I'm throwing this out there a bit in a hurry because I'm leaving for the last week of vacation :)
so no audio but it's easy because it's the beginning of the 2nd mov of Beethoven's 8th sym.
instrumentation: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, strings
"the orchestral thinking of this mov is original in that, often, the winds provide harmonic background and the strings the melodic figures"

eheh, I was very undecided about whether to opt for octave horns as well, but I couldn't hear them in my mp3 and then also the octave fg are a must (but if I'm not mistaken, not in B.'s era)
anyway, I'll tell you in advance that you are right

Original orchestration and mp3 that I hadn't included.
