In a free interpretation, in exercise 22 for me long notes to the strings and short ones to the winds... a play between oboe and clarinet

I worked on it, but I have a problem with the ending... so I'll describe it to you
I didn't quite understand if there are instrumentation limits; I would do as you did Ale, listening to the mp3, but by instinct I would reinforce, for example in the second example, those accents with the entry of other instruments (like "punctuation").

Aparte the strings, during this period the woodwinds are at 2; it is likely there will be the piccolo but not yet the contrabassoon.
For the brass, up to 4 horns, 2 trumpets, and up to 3 trombones.
Timpani for sure, but also cymbals and bass drum

In example 22 I agree with Ale to give that part to the strings, although perhaps I would change the instrument entries... and I would try to create resonances for the winds.
PS
The 21 seems quite given, probably the exercise is informative to highlight the enrichment of the orchestra by a pair of horns.

yes, in effect they were 2 somewhat meager exercises .... unusually easy
i had a look and the idea is precisely to use only the bare essentials, anyway between today and tomorrow I will prepare the pdf with the original orchestration.
