My 13-year-old son and I play the piano. I started studying again a couple of years ago.
In early 2024, I purchased/adopted an acoustic Petrof piano from a family friend.
It is a:
Petrof P 125 II
Serial number: 533876
Year of production: 1995/1996
Made in Liberec.
Action: Detoa (it seems), not Renner.
A piano that remained unused for many years.
I had the following work carried out:
1) An initial tuning, not to 440;
2) Overhaul of the action;
3) Cleaning and lubrication of the key pins to remove friction.
"In November, when I turn on the radiators more or less, I will have another tuning and a keyboard regulation carried out. For now, I must play it." (This is what I was told)
I am not yet satisfied, and this dissatisfaction is making me passionate about the subject. There are still some problems.
