Hello everyone, it is a great honor that I have joined the Forum; I have read many discussions.
My name is Ivan, I am 46 years old and I am Neapolitan by birth and residence.
I am passionate about the piano, which I strum as a self-taught player, although I studied two years of solfeggio when I was little.
I possess an upright piano from around 1890, German (I believe according to my personal research it is an H. Matz & C.) given to me by my mother when I was about 10 years old; it has been kept quite well (I adjusted the dampers myself and they seem to work perfectly), and it has a beautiful sound, truly beautiful, even if the bass is not the best.
Then, I recently purchased a Torinese piano, a Stipman—actually two (and I will explain the reason for the double purchase) which truly has a beautiful tone.
I hope I can clear up the many curiosities I have with you.
It had been about 15 years since I last put a finger on a keyboard, and since "I have resumed," life seems, in fact, it is, more beautiful!
I hope to be well received.
