I bought the book when it was printed in 1995 and I have already read and reread it more times than I can count: it is the most worn one of all in my Beethoven library, the cover is now faded. In fact, it has been very useful to me and will be very useful again!

I work in a publishing house, and when it is said that a book is not currently available, it means that it is still in the catalog but is out of print. If they then decide to reprint it, we will have to see. The intention has existed for several years now but... Let's just say it depends solely on market demand.

In reality, the credit for this decision of mine goes to Terenzio and his website. I was looking at the Bach catalog and then I looked at the Beethoven one.

I noticed that, as always unfortunately, once again the Beethoven catalog maintains the distinction between Opus and WoO, without, moreover, considering the Hess and Biamonti catalogs.

What continues to be missing is a catalog updated to recent discoveries that puts Beethoven's music in order like the Mozartian and Schubertian ones.

I have therefore decided to publish my work, which I hope to complete: I am at 1802. Hoping that then, in the future - perhaps for 2020 - someone much more expert than me will do it.

For me, it is also an incentive to study and to delve even deeper into the letters and all the texts I have available. In short: studying, cerebral training, and above all, enjoyment. Killing two birds with one stone... if I can!

I am glad... Imagine that I only have the Mozart one, as for the others (Beethoven and Brahms) I didn't even have time to purchase them and it seems they have no intention of reprinting them (and I don't understand why!). Good luck with your work!

(Brahms isn't there, I have it)
