Unfortunately for us Italians, art is considered something useless. Culture unites peoples, elevates common thought, opens the mind, and leads to reflection.

With the political orientation of always, both from the right and the left, I believe there is a certain will to leave the people in darkness so that they cannot react and rebel against regimes and dictatorships. Are these not the signals of those who govern us? We are among the most backward countries in terms of connectivity, we have a cultural level on television networks that is nothing short of frightening, schools and universities are in shambles, we are oppressed by taxes and formalities, and therefore this horrendous news does not surprise me at all.
