I would like to indulge the whim of changing my piano's pedalboard with one shaped like a lyre, as I recently found one on a website; I have always liked the idea quite a bit.
after having finished the color finishing of my piano, I was wondering how it would be possible to disassemble the 3 brass pedals and apply them to the new wooden part
Could this replacement cause problems?

Aesthetics: The lyre pendant matches the legs and the legs of the bench. That is, it changes the style of the furniture. From a technical point of view, the new pedals must be reinstalled and it must be ensured that the rods are in the correct position. The support screws for them must also be in the correct position. I believe it is a bit complicated. A skilled craftsman, or you yourself, will know how to properly adapt the new element

There is also the inlaid music stand, identical to the one they have in Bologna on the Steinway at the Liszt Institute (a copy of one of the pianos owned by him); I like the coincidence, it would fit the style perfectly. Of course, the replica isn't wood, it's "medium-density", but oh well.
As for the piano legs, however, I found the "Bechstein" type which are round at the base rather than rectangular, and they have a threaded iron rod protruding from the center; I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to adapt them to mine, even though the screws at the base seem to be in a different spot, I'm not exactly sure. Could it be unstable afterwards?

Stability is very important. That type of leg. certainly beautiful, it seems to me that it is fixed to a shaped waist. One must ensure, in case it is antique, that it is free of woodworm. If you also want benches with the same legs, artisans like Lanzani can, I believe, reproduce the exact design. Lanzani himself made a bench for me specifically for a Bechstein piano that I no longer own. Such legs, as already mentioned, should not be identical to the instrument's legs, but should take inspiration from one of the straight designs of the pedal "lyre".
