Hello. Watching and rewatching your very interesting video tutorials regarding the functioning of piano mechanics, both upright and grand, it flashed into my mind that I want to extract from my old upright (late '800, drop action), the mechanism, and in particular the key and the entire hammer-damper action mechanism... I wanted to have an extract of a mechanism available as well, certainly ancient and obsolete, but at least a starting point to visualize the levers live every day... I wanted some technical construction advice to accomplish this task... I am not a carpenter... However, I have already disassembled the key, the hammer, the damper... in short, I have everything at my disposal... but... I see that in your video tutorials you have used a support base and other things to fix everything better... I am getting lost... perhaps I will have to work harder... with some still images from your videos.... I would be curious to ask if these "educational models" can already be found ready-made around... perhaps I am asking for absurd things... anyway, thank you. Greetings to the whole Forum.
