Good morning everyone! I am a big fan of Dream Theater and, recently, I happened to come across a couple of videos of their songs arranged for piano (the first one) and covered (the second one). In particular, the first one, Dance of Eternity, is performed by a conservatory professor and classical concert pianist who is working on a project (Metal Chamber) in which he arranges metal songs for solo piano. I would like to ask what "cultured" musicians think, first of all, about tracks like these, and secondly, about the piano arrangements and performances.
