Milan: 15th-century bridge discovered

NAVIGLI - A medieval bridge has been found under Piazza XXIV Maggio. It was discovered by the authors of the redevelopment project for the Darsena, the old Milanese port that has been abandoned for years.

One must hope they don't immediately pave it, because people won't behave themselves.

Consider that, regardless of acoustics, the canals in Milan have all been covered to create large main roads ... which have indeed disfigured the Milanese soundscape.

If only it were just the noise pollution
There are those who can be more precise, but the human tolerance threshold seems to me to be 120dB; consider that one of the 3 metro lines (among other things, which is not one of the oldest) reaches 95dB... an acoustic hell.

the Navigli ring was buried... the Bastioni ring was demolished... unfortunately, from certain choices made in the name of efficiency, there is no turning back.
From the noise pollution of the MM (Milan Metro), one saves oneself by using a bike.
From atmospheric pollution, one saves oneself (perhaps) with an anti-smog mask.
From external and internal confusion, one saves oneself by taking refuge in parks during break hours.
