Moderator team selection

I also agree on the candidacy of Thallo for the "Vocal Technique" section and Frank for the entire "Composition" section, even though other people could also be helpful in this entire section, so as not to place everything on Frank's shoulders (at least that is what I think, then it depends on what he decides). As far as I am concerned, I do not think (as I told you in the past) that I could be a suitable person for this purpose, because as precise as I may be in the things I do, I am not distinguished by diplomacy. Especially knowing (knowing myself well from this point of view) that it would not be easy to be consistent, and this is necessary.

Valdon, if this is the premise, I believe you are not the ideal person regardless. In all honesty, a moderator should do their part to help the forum grow, not to advertise external portals (assuming I haven't even seen what it is about).

If you feel up to it, I don't see the problem. I believe it is nonetheless a case to discuss it together with Frank.

As far as diplomacy is concerned, as a moderator you can contribute to the development of your section but you must not cause damage; raise your voice only when you cannot help it and avoid exaggerating. If there are problems, they will be discussed, as we have already been doing for some time now, together with all the moderators; if there is a majority, the user is banned without further issues.

I gladly volunteer for Beethoven for the Great Composers Groups.... and if needed (due to a lack of other targeted candidates) also for Chopin and Liszt

but as far as I know, the sections on the great composers haven't been inserted since all 3 have already been moderated.... if you want, you can eventually ask to open another one..

mmmh I just saw now.... which is strange since all 3 groups are moderated (including Liszt by me) unless they meant a general moderator for all 3 sections.... I wouldn't know...

I meant a moderator of the section. The subsections are moderated, not the main section. But for this one, I would ask Armando if you don't mind, since he has brought many people to the site by moderating his section and it seems right and respectful to ask him first before everyone else. If he were to refuse, you choose who you want to be the area Mod, no problem. Any discussions regarding the choice should always be in private messages, including me among the recipients via invitation please.

Armando is fine with me if he wants...

I don't know if there are technical implications later... but I doubt it; it is more a functional matter than a technical one
