I confess that I do not love this composer. Aside from a few pieces - including this one - I would save very little of his vast production and I would never go to Vienna for the New Year's Concert, even if they paid me to.

As in other circumstances, I know that I am strongly in the minority on this. And it is therefore right to give him his due prominence as well.

However, I will do so by adding an "added value," the scene from "2001: A Space Odyssey," probably what was and remains the greatest science fiction cinematic masterpiece.
