Last July, I purchased a 1993 Yamaha G3 with practice pedal: the keyboard is slightly heavy for my taste (but it's a matter of habit), good timbre, but too resonant (it over-sounds, to quote a recent post).
I have discovered that all notes from F4 down to the lowest one sound, as soon as they are plucked, upon the lifting of the relative damper, as shown in the video I am attaching.
This is probably also the reason why it seems to me that it resonates too much.
I cannot see or hear your video. Anyway, it seems to me that the dampers in question are releasing too early. Regarding the action: the fact that it is heavy and/or stiff could depend on the pins of the action itself. Keep in mind that the dampers also have levers with relative pins that could be sluggish and prevent some dampers from falling properly onto the strings.
