In a few months I will start studying the piano seriously, but being an out-of-town student, I necessarily have to opt for a digital piano that is not too complicated to transport (so no upright piano). My budget is quite limited (so to speak) and is around 600 to 700 euros (negotiable by a few dozen euros if the difference of a few pennies is compensated by a decent difference in the quality of the instrument).
I have been recommended the Yamaha P Series, but being totally ignorant from this point of view, I am asking you for advice.
You were recommended the Yamaha P series because, in that price range, it is one of those series that works decently. To increase quality, you have to go much higher with prices and be willing to spend at least 1200 / 1300 euros.
Thanks TheSimon! Unfortunately I cannot go beyond 700, both for purely economic reasons and considering the fact that I am just starting out so I can settle for less. The important thing is that it is sufficient for studying. Is there one particular model (that you know of) that would be worth aiming for?
Just do a quick search on the internet and many from the P series will come up. This way you can also consider buying the keyboard from some online store and save yourself something. Obviously, the more you spend, the more you gain in quality. If I'm not mistaken, Enrico Punzo has the 105. Ask him for his impressions.
