Good morning everyone and thank you for welcoming me to this forum
My name is Adriano and I love music.
My musical education has never been systematic or academic.
It was the Beatles who revealed to me the great emotional power of this art.
So I started playing the guitar. Which led me straight to Toquinho and Vinicius de Moraes.
Bossa Nova was the bridge that allowed me to reach Jazz.
But I realized that the great ascetic practice of improvisation was not my path.
I wanted to write, compose, invent and, as you all know, there is only one language useful for this exercise: classical music.
So I became a student of Harmony, Counterpoint, Form Theory and everything necessary for the understanding of musical language.
I am also trying to find a synthesis, a summary of what is necessary and useful in the practice of musical invention.
You can find it on the website of which I am the author, www.diariomusicale.com, which aims to propose itself as a new artistic form, modeled on the only medium that can contain it: the network.
I am naturally an avid and tireless listener. I especially love musical impressionism, Debussy, Satie, Ravel, Scriabin...
but naturally I also love and listen to everything else.
forgive me if I have been too long-winded, thank you again for welcoming me and .. good music to all.
