National Plan for music in schools presented
Musical literacy starting from kindergarten, strengthening of musical tracks in middle schools, expansion of musical high schools (Licei musicali) at a local level, reintroduction of music education in all types of upper secondary schools. These are some of the interventions proposed in the National Plan for Music (“Music in school for the formation of the citizen”) presented by the National Committee for Music Learning, chaired by Luigi Berlinguer, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education.
