I've just started it and, as I expected, I'm devouring it!
It is a fun and sparkling excursus of the history of the piano, wide-ranging
between classical music, jazz, and more, rich with anecdotes and little stories that only that
polished pen of Stuart Isacoff could write.
By the same author, I have also read "Temperament: A History of an Musical Enigma"
which is beautiful and intriguing!
