this is a piece from a suite that I wrote for the students of the jazz course at the conservatory of Vicenza, a milonga titled "Todavia". instrumentation: flute, alto flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, horn, bassoon, trumpet, tenor sax, guitar, vibraphone, piano, double bass and drums.

Even here, the file made with MIDI instruments served to give an idea of the result...

again, I can't upload the mp3, I have to link to my site, sorry

Dear Crisantemi, is that Massimo? Or rather dear maestro, if I may call you by this title, I can only say well done!

i am speaking to you personally and I have no credentials as a musician, let alone as a composer. I often compare music to good food in the sense that it is not necessary to be experts in the culinary arts; someone offers me something and I taste it. In this case, the dish prepared by you was delicious...

Thank you Giovanni, you are always kind... the comparison with cooking was beautiful and spot on.

PS my real name is Roberto

Well! Roberto, excuse me, but I hadn't associated the website name with you, even though it was obvious, I was too caught up in listening to the tracks you proposed.

I "investigated" you; I saw that you often play live with your group, is there any chance you happen to be around here so that I can come and listen to you?

P.S. if I see the good Paolo Fresu, I will ask to invite you and your group for the Berchidda "Time in Jazz" festival, who knows if...
