Good morning to the whole forum from a new member.
I was recently delivered a new Kawai upright piano.
I am not an expert, but I noticed that the keyboard keys are not exactly aligned; not by much, but it is visible (about 1-1.5 millimeters).
I would like to know if, in your opinion, such a thing is physiological and what it might depend on, keeping in mind that the piano is new.
I thank in advance to anyone who wants to share their thoughts.

If you noticed it, it means it's visible!!!!!! They must be perfectly aligned. It is absolutely not physiological... unless the piano was sold as new and it is not new! To modify the keyboard alignment, one must intervene on the paper shims of the center rail... but when it is new, the piano has been tested and settled. To see the misalignment, place a straightedge on the keyboard and a small light behind it.

Yes, in fact I did have some doubts, yet it arrived with a KAWAI certificate, serial number, and an ATX box, although the headphones seemed used.

I have many doubts! What is it? A Silent? If he changes it for you, take a normal one or a Yamaha.
P.S. Also, if there is one specific thing Kawai does, it is the unalterable key dip. I believe it has been "heavily" used. Send me a photo of the hammers with details of the Basses and the trebles

It seems to me that I have heard that cheaper pianos often arrive without being prepared, leaving all the tuning and regulation up to the seller.
