I was thinking of using a remote videoconferencing web service where we could talk and discuss in real time all the problems you have encountered while following our courses, or to discuss some technicalities that remain difficult for you in music studies, piano technique, or musical informatics, and everything we treat here; we will therefore make ourselves available to you on certain days and at times that will be posted here on the forum. I realize that most of you work and therefore this space could be scheduled a couple of hours before dinner, for example from 18:30 to 19:30 or 20:30 (we will decide whether to dedicate 1 or 2 hours depending on attendance), or alternatively to hold everything after dinner, for example from 21:00 to 22:00 or 23:00. Before programming a web platform for this purpose, I thought it would be simpler for the moment to use a free external web service; therefore, if this is well-received and especially followed by everyone in the future, it could evolve into a complete music course from basic to advanced levels, following distance learning courses where you will have the possibility to interact with us in real time using webcams and audio, just as if you were attending a university lecture, either by programming our own videoconferencing platform or by appropriately using existing services for this purpose.
I therefore ask you to please complete the survey so that we can decide based on the numbers whether this idea is feasible or not.

I fully agree. Great idea, I believe it doesn't exist in any other forum. As far as I know, there are video courses but most of them are paid, but a live thing is something I had never seen before.
It would be really very interesting, as well as useful and original ... could it be done? If so, I would love it!!! If there is a reason why I wouldn't follow all the conferences ... it's just other commitments that I would try to reschedule ... Let me know!!

However, I believe it is important to consider the fact that we are heading towards summer, and that it will become difficult to stay at home in front of the PC! 😕
I would suggest not "burning" the idea, and proposing it again in September 😉
I want to describe an experience I am currently having.
I met a teacher online with whom we meet virtually on the weekend for a lesson.
A very interesting experience. It is not the same as a live lesson, but it is very constructive because for someone like me who doesn't have a teacher, it is very difficult to cultivate this passion and achieve some results. if this initiative could be started, it would be a wonderful thing.
