This is a small excerpt from the performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 "Emperor". This historic recording, made in Berlin in 1944 in an underground bunker, contains a curious documentary fragment: in addition to the excellent performance (digitally remastered and therefore cleaned up), if you listen closely, you can hear the explosions and dull booms of Russian artillery that was bombarding Berlin at that moment.
