I believe that watching an opera at the cinema is a good idea for two reasons. First, the cost is certainly lower than the entrance ticket. Second, the convenience, because not everyone is lucky enough to live near the city where the performance takes place. In Milan, I saw a couple of operas on the big screen and I appreciated it very much because I wouldn't have been able to afford going to the premiere at La Scala
