Hello everyone
Excuse me, could you tell me how to arrange an orchestra in an audio editing program like Logic X?
I am not familiar with the order of a classical score, which groups instruments in a certain way, but I believe that even in a program like Logic, the same order is followed.

Whether with Logic or other software, you can simply use the "Pan" control to establish not exactly the position of an instrument, but its perception in space; in simple terms, I would say, by adjusting it based on the arrangement of instruments in a classical orchestra (assuming it is a symphonic orchestra).
For example, normally the first violins are positioned slightly to the left of the conductor (whom you imagine seeing from behind), the second violins slightly behind the firsts, the violas roughly in the center, the cellos on the right, and the double basses behind the cellos.
If you search the internet for "orchestral instrument arrangement" and set the search to "images," you will surely find some files to download and view during the preparation phase.

Thank you very much everyone, but I meant the instrumental order in a score; for example, I noticed
that in a score of only brass, the order is as follows:
from bottom to top (low-high)
trumpet
horn
trombone
tuba
why is this order followed? does it perhaps follow the order of range?
whereas in a "complete" score, the horn is above the trumpet, why is that?
for example:
flute
oboe
bassoon
horn
trumpet

The horn is the alto of the brass, but it is placed above the trumpet because it is a "hybrid" instrument, the most versatile of the brass which also blends well with the woodwinds... hence its position in the "center" between woodwinds and brass
