It seems to me that the regulation and pre-regulation are quite alright... the piano had its keyboard bushings changed (only those of the central key pivot), the depth and leveling were redone, and the jack and hammer pins were changed.
i am not convinced by the result... it seems to me that this different aftertouch space is not a good thing...

Have you read the Kawai regulation manual? Were the measurements respected? I had a Kg2 and I know that type of action very well; it seems strange to me that if the regulation was done according to the rules, there would be this inconsistency from key to key. Do you feel this sensation even without the dampers (with the right pedal pressed down)?
I also tried with the right pedal pressed, but the result is the same. The escapement is adjusted according to standard practice (it was done by the technician), but perhaps the "second" escapement (the hammer drop measurement) should be rechecked.
Regarding the measurements: it must be noted that the instrument (which is about 30 years old) has undergone various modifications (not always successful) by different technicians: replacement of the hammer rail, hammer heads, hammer felt, shaving, weighting, regulation of hammer dip, etc.).
Currently, the measurements reflect those in the manual, except for the black keys, which are 12mm compared to the 12.5mm indicated by the manufacturer.

I understand.... the white and black keys support that have not been modified in the coverings, so... but are the hammers aligned in the falling position? Regardless of the measurements, if it is true that everything was done correctly and if the hammers are aligned in all positions (rest, first, and second), you shouldn't feel any differences (provided that the pusher is positioned correctly)

Place a long line on the rests, near the hammers and check if the perfect alignment of the rests corresponds to the perfect alignment of the heads....not to be distrustful, but still...
in the drop position, do you mean the hammer rest engagement? in this case yes, they are aligned, while I am not sure about the alignment in the other positions... this seems less obvious to me....

No, I meant at rest and on the second escapement.... Instead, the line test was needed to see if there was any alignment problem with the hammer drillings....

Between 12 and 15 there isn't much difference. Naturally, the higher parade facilitates the escapement lever, but the spring must be lightened. In short, we are moving into customizations.

A nearly imperceptible measurement, which is difficult for me to recognize by sight. As far as I know, there is no specific tool to adjust the height of the repetition lever relative to the top of the upright.
As Pianoexpert says in the video on grand piano pf regulation, one should have a feeling of "non-leveling," like a small notch/tooth.
