I didn't know this concert! Very beautiful! Thank you for sharing it.

It is a beautiful concerto written in 1902 by a Respighi who had just graduated in composition from the Conservatory of Bologna.
A pity that it is very rarely performed. I have never found it in concert programs.

Thank you, Stefano, for the listening and the appreciation.
(it is one of his jewels, inexplicably, unrecognized)

Your intervention honors me, dear Terenzio.

No, no, this is not right.
I don't understand why "The Wellesz Company" chose to publish this performance. The pianist Geoffrey Tozer languishes.
(perhaps due to some sort of snobbery towards Naxos?)
In my humble opinion, this one with the Russian pianist Konstantin Scherbakov is much better, with a completely different strength compared to the first. Respighi's spirit is here.
I would very much appreciate hearing your opinion on this matter.
Thank you.

Thanks Viola. Really a beautiful concert, I didn't even know the composer. Do you know if he wrote any pieces for solo piano?

Thank you Viola
the late romantic is not a genre I frequent much but I listened to it with pleasure.
