I don't think it's a hoax... Just read Mozart's letters. He wrote all sorts of things, even much more scandalous ones than this one, which is actually quite nice in the end...

Yes, I knew that using 'relatives' in letters was quite vulgar, but I didn't think he would allow himself to do it while teaching.... sure, at the time there was no psychopedagogy... but a minimum of elegance while teaching!!!
