Good morning,

I am asking for enlightenment on this forum to know the correct way to perform the adjustment of the stroke of the "1 String" pedal (left pedal) on a Bechstein B grand piano. I noticed the presence of a nut on the pedal lyre rod that comes into contact with the felt (photo attached, circled in red). I imagine that some minimum clearance is required below here. However, that nut appears to be locked (I believe with threadlocker). I wanted to understand if the rod also has threading on the opposite side (in the pedal lyre) such that it is possible to adjust its stroke by reducing the play, or if the adjustment occurs exclusively thanks to the nut (which unfortunately... is locked). Thank you
