UNESCO, following an investigation carried out to evaluate the order of priority of its areas of activity, has placed the program concerning Creativity, which includes education through the Arts, in 48th place. This places the program, and the initiatives linked to it such as the Road Map, World Conferences, and the International Week for Artistic Education and other projects broadly related to creativity, at risk of elimination: with the consequence of losing any form of support. An inevitable consequence would also be providing our Governments with a further excuse to deprioritize Arts Education, denying promotion and access to the field of arts for children and young people.
