PIANO, HAMMOND ORGAN, AND ANALOG SYNTHESIZER COURSE IN AFRICAN-AMERICAN MUSIC

Instructor: MICHELE PAPADIA (Adriano Celentano, Jovanotti, Dolcenera, Noemi, Articolo 31, Etta James, Robben Ford, Roberto Gatto and many others).

The course objectives are the knowledge of performance characteristics in various styles of African-American music and the fusion of these styles (Funk, Blues, Jazz, NuJazz, Fusion, Gospel, Pop) at the base of a complete training for a contemporary pianist/organist/keyboardist.
Use of piano, keyboards, digital and analog synthesizers, Hammond organ, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Moog, clavinet, arpeggiators, vocoder, live electronics, effects (delay, reverb, tremolo, wah-wah, etc.), both live and in the recording studio.
