Good morning, I am writing here to share the experience I am having with my piano in search of answers. Some time ago, I purchased a Yamaha U3H upright piano. I am realizing that I have some problems with the piano's keyboard. I cannot understand if it is too light or if the sound of the piano is too loud, but I always find difficulty when I have to play parts softly and very softly. Furthermore, I find it very difficult to manage to keep a stable sound or to perform staccatos softly. The problem is that with my teacher's piano none of these problems occur, so I think it is a problem with my piano! I ask everyone for help!
An escapement regulated a bit further away and a particularly bright tuning lead to feeling a keyboard that is easy in terms of agility (apparently light) but with extreme difficulty in performing the piano. Everything should be regulated (perhaps ignoring or eliminating the dampening) and an intonation performed that allows for various dynamics to be executed. The Yamaha hammers are very saturated, but they can be easily tuned without stifling their particular timbral brightness.
