in the time of coronavirus, as a music education professor, I am taking steps to be able to continue teaching music education remotely.
on television, they continuously broadcast musical segments in which singers and/or musicians perform remotely without any perceived latency issues, delayed sound, etc. As far as you know, do platforms that can achieve this actually exist? or, much more simply, does each musician, independently, record their own part (perhaps with the help of an audio backing track that others will also use) and in the end, the various pieces produced by each are edited into a single audio-video file?
could you suggest some platforms to experiment with? I am quite ignorant on the subject; I have never used one for teaching purposes
