So.. I will try to be brief.

I changed my PC due to a breakdown.

On the previous one, I had installed Cool Edit 2.

When I had to record a MIDI file, I would play the MIDI file and set Cool Edit to rec, and it would record perfectly in WAV or MP3 format.

So I avoided converting the MIDI file to MP3.

Now, since I changed my PC, all of this is no longer possible for me.

It's worth noting that I downloaded the same versions from the internet, but nothing...

Why is that?

What am I doing wrong, in your opinion?

Mmmm signal routing problem?

Try to see if in your PC's audio card recording settings, "What you hear" or in Italian "Quel che senti" is available as a source.

The path I should follow is?

Control Panel > Manage audio devices > Recording (window) > Microphone / Line in. ??

I don't see any text saying "what you hear"

I have a Windows 7 2009

Sound Max integrated digital audio hd card
