Hi everyone, I've heard talk about Power chords... what is that stuff?

They are the typical I-V power chords of rock and heavy metal, to be performed preferably with distorted electric guitar, but not only...

Why do you doubt that you need them, everything is needed; the I-V dyad has a natural power due to the fact that it is a perfect interval and then it can be used interchangeably in both major and minor modes. Even the pedals and the fills of the organ are based on this principle of perfect intervals. One must not snub or overlook anything....
