Hello everyone, I have a few little questions to ask.
I studied with a private professor to take the admission exam for the pre-academic course at the conservatory.
I wanted some clarification since my professor filled out the application and I didn't quite understand what it consists of; on the application, it says it asks to take the admission exam for the year 2014-2015 for the 1st year of the PIANO course (T.S.M). Can you explain to me what this course consists of? And since the exams are very soon, should I be worried? What exactly will they make me do during the exams? I apologize for all these questions and thank you in advance.

In Milan, the Piano, Violin, and Composition classes are certainly very "intense," so I am pointing you toward the programs of this conservatory.
Keep in mind that every institute has great autonomy, so the ideal thing would be to go to your conservatory's website (by the way, which one is it?) or ask at the administration office.
1. A piece by Bach or a polyphonic piece 2. Two etudes 3. A Sonata (or a movement of a Sonata) or a classical Sonatina 4. A piece from the Romantic or Modern period 5. Sight-reading At least one of the tests from no. 1 to no. 4 must be performed from memory.
The difficulty level of the program will be chosen by the candidate, in relation to their own technical/musical abilities and the study period they intend to enter.
