As a child, I participated for 8 years in the civic music school, dedicating myself only to classical music. From age 12 to 18, I stopped completely. Subsequently, I resumed playing and dedicating myself to the piano with passion until today.
A dear 88-year-old teacher follows me. In addition to being a great musician that we have in Italy, he is a friend and a grandfather to me. Above all, he also taught me several rudiments of tuning and piano maintenance.
Pianistically, he was one of the students and friends of Carlo Lonati.

Among the Chopin studies that I play (if one can call it that), the ones I love most are no. 1 and no. 2 op. 10, no. 12 op. 10, the 1st op. 25, and alas op. 25 no. 9, which I really struggle to play.
I would never dare play them in public. Actually, to tell the truth, no, sometimes I do it because I am too curious to understand how and where I can improve them. But only when I am in the presence of classical pianists.
Despite everything, I practice them in 90% of cases, articulated and slow. The faster I play them, the easier it becomes to steal...
My future dream is to be able to record Chopin's no. 2. Who knows, maybe one day...
My latest recordings on the channel were made with an inexpensive Canon camera and a good little Jammin microphone. The earlier ones were made only with the camera and therefore the audio is a bit poor. Oh well, just the thought is enough
