Hello everyone,
I imagine the recipient of this suggestion is probably Simone.
Reflecting on a personal need of mine (read 'unforgivable gap') and assuming a good number of users have the same needs, I was wondering if it would be possible, sooner or later, to create a basic video tutorial on MASTERING.
or rather, on what I mean by MASTERING.
I believe I asked for clarification on the subject in another discussion on this forum.
anyway, just to be clear, by MASTERING, I mean the set of processes and steps that act upon the tracks acquired during recording, in their 'naked and raw' state, dry, without effects, adjustments, plug-ins, etc.
that is, those steps that provide cohesion, balance, and depth to what has been recorded.
More people, including Simone himself, have pointed out to me that this process is very subjective and follows personal tastes closely.
But since my unfortunate knowledge limits me to a single, sole, and unworthy dry recording, anything that could be turned into a tutorial from this point forward will be most welcome! :-p
