AMAZON.IT - from December 16, 2012
Giovanna Boursier
Amazon, the online commerce giant, sells everything. In Europe, its headquarters is in Luxembourg, Amazon Eu Sarl, which also controls the two Italian companies: Logistics, with the warehouse in Castel San Giovanni where 400 employees ship orders, and Corporate in Milan, with 200 employees who negotiate contracts with publishers and distributors. We ask ourselves: since a large part of the commercial activity seems to be here, why does Amazon pay taxes in Luxembourg where it is more convenient instead of paying them in Italy?
One of the reasons that perhaps leads Amazon to have prices that are always a little lower compared to others, look at IBS!

Two amendments have been presented by the Democratic Party to prevent multinationals, such as Google, from evading taxes on Italian territory.
