Do you know if Rachmaninoff's studies Op. 39 have titles? I seem to remember reading somewhere that the second one is called "the flight of the seagulls," but I don't know if this was attributed by Rachmaninoff himself or others.
Is anything certain known?

I don't know if you have ever noticed his difficulty, in my opinion it could even be more difficult than Liszt's "La Campanella" (which is based on a Paganini capriccio)...
