Guys, I'm telling you that I always use earphones. When I don't have them, even if I'm only on the phone for a minute, I get an earache.

The only thing I have observed after being on my phone for quite a long time, we're talking about hours, is the ear feeling slightly warm. Partly due to the battery having to provide more amperes and partly due to microwaves that are not very different from those of a microwave oven, if it weren't for the fact that they are much, much less powerful. In my opinion, conducting a statistic on these things, considering that nowadays we live in a world full of smog where tumors can come from any other agent, including genetic ones, becomes very difficult.

I take the liberty of making an observation.

I read the abstract of these recent studies with pleasure (there is more than one).

It doesn't say anything startling. Practically, we have the same risk as someone like me who reads many books and therefore inhales the glues and solvents they are impregnated with (low but not zero risk).

The risk is extremely lower (1:100) than that of someone who smokes a little or lives with smokers. The risk is significantly lower compared to long solar exposures (even with creams).

For the sake of completeness, the piano is also a den of poisons. Those who work on it are exposed to various harmful substances.

Another curiosity: bananas contain a small percentage of potassium-40 (radioactive), and it can happen that a Geiger counter detects some clicking. (pollution has nothing to do with this; nature is just made this way.)

There are many interesting things and medico-scientific challenges for the 21st century. But it's quite a leap to demonize the mobile phone as if it were a bar of plutonium.

A different matter altogether is the psychosocial impact that the mobile phone is having... which creates addiction and tends to make people stupid. But I believe that makes less news.

I don't know what my discomfort depends on (I had associated it with cell phone waves). Anyway, I continue to use earphones

but maybe in the long run it produces heat.... but nothing more.... consider that the compact ones have the battery in that area....
