Remix and Demix

I wouldn't want to be wrong, but unlike a remix, which tries to make a track more listenable or danceable by hiding it under layers of additional production and new sound tracks, the demix uses exclusively the original material of the chosen track. Furthermore, the goal of demixing is to make a track unsustainable by lengthening it and reiterating fragments, while still preserving a recognizable rhythmic base. The track is therefore destructuring into its minimal elements, and the listener is asked for the ability to recognize the beauty not of the entire original piece, but of its microscopic passages which, precisely because they are "beautiful," deserve to be listened to several times in a row, until forgetting what they were originally.
