I know.... you'll tell me: "and what about the website www.siae.it, what is it there for?"....

naturally I have been busy via the aforementioned site. I was totally inactive for a long period and now that I have started writing again, the need to deposit pieces with SIAE has arisen once more. I had completely forgotten that mod.112 specifically requires the associate's position number. In the past, via email, SIAE kindly communicated it to me... but above all very patiently... in the sense that with great calmness, they communicated it to me after ONLY 4 months from the submission of my request.

did you know if there is a slightly quicker way to find this data?

o come, can we really not escape those ONLY 4 months?

I don't know… maybe in the meantime a few things can change.

I see right now in my website archive (www.siae.it) that a code appears which I had never seen before.

it is the IPI code which, in plain words, "uniquely identifies a rights holder (composer/author/publisher) throughout the

world".

and what if on mod.112 I reported this code, which from what I understand, should identify myself?

or in your opinion, is the SIAE position number something else entirely?

It happened to me once that, in a hurry, I didn't indicate it for a deposit. Going to the counter, the young lady retrieved it via PC and I correctly indicated it. In your case, it would be enough to just write it down on a classic little paper note... do you really think that in 2013, at the agency, they can't find out which position number you have?

Go and settle the matter during the deposit of model 112

Ok, thanks everyone, anyway I solved the problem by contacting the office in charge of the music section directly via email. This time only one week has passed since I sent my request
