Revolution in high schools, the student curriculum arrives: they will be able to choose part of the subjects

it would be a really interesting thing, who knows if it will ever happen... a friend of mine did a cycle of substitute teaching for "alternative subjects to Catholic religion", i.e., to manage those who had opted out of religion class. He set up a course on the philosophy of religion which seems to have been very successful :-) the problem, however, always remains the same: Italian programs are too long and too all-encompassing. We are obsessed with the idea of doing everything; we think that not covering a topic is a sacrilege, a lack of respect. And in this way, we penalize the very idea of in-depth study, or studying texts, or laboratory work.

Will there finally be Music History among the elective subjects?

After so many "histories"... history of Italian literature, history of Latin literature, history of philosophy, history of art..

I hardly believe it, in this Italy, a great protagonist of musical history, but where music is not considered worthy of being part of culture and art.
