This is a piece I used to participate in the 8dio competition; there were more than 300 participants and the level was extremely high from an audio standpoint. Obviously, I didn't win, but that doesn't matter at all...
The piece had to last a maximum of 3 minutes and highlight at least one 8dio instrument; I used Glass Marimba, but then shamelessly, all the other VSTs were from other brands... coincidentally, those who won only used 8dio VSTs....
The beginning of the piece is very similar to Alice finale; I liked that atmosphere so I replayed it, and then it heads towards other shores......

As soon as I heard the part that starts at 45''... this song came back to my mind.
I find that the most pleasant thing is precisely the juxtaposition of sounds; regarding the central part, I agree with Gerardo... but it is quite listenable

Compliments to the Composer of this piece and to the excellent sampling. I like it very much.
I really like the arrangement, especially the bass which pushes a lot and is very spot on, even in terms of sound. It's also nice how the marimba plays well with the ambiguity of being a very prominent instrument but at the same time not soloistic.
i have only one reservation regarding the choice of flute; perhaps you could have played with a more unique timbre, also because in doubling the marimba it seems a bit thin to me, as if it neutralizes it without adding anything.
in any case, a highly professional work and a very enjoyable result
