Guys, I always manage to do it by hoping that something good comes out in a burst of confidence in Italian music ... I have decided to post my reviews.
The ball is in your court.
Chiara
Music: boring and without verve, repeats the same three notes infinitely.
Arrangement: Monotonous throughout the song.
Interpretation: few dynamics and those that are there are loud/crass.
Score 4
Grignani
Music: here too, the same riff is repeated too many times making the song boring. It improves in the second part but nothing spectacular.
Arrangement: suitable for the song with excellent use of strings.
Interpretation: non-existent voice, always in the throat and unbelievably out of tune.
Score 4
Britti
Music: pseudo/fake rock like Jovanotti. Already heard a thousand times.
Arrangement: horrible, instruments treated poorly.
interpretation: non-existent ... he doesn't sing but speaks, there is nothing else to say.
Score 1.5
Malika
Music: well written, perfect for her voice. Easy-listening melodic rock with 2 different themes that create a bit of variety.
Arrangement: evanescent. If the orchestra hadn't been there, it would have been the same thing.
Interpretation: Despite the beautiful voice, the interpretation is rather monotonous and poor in dynamics.
Score 6
Dear Jack
Music: nothing new. Too easy-listening melodic rock. Positive note on the two themes being quite different from each other, even if already heard too many times.
Arrangement: non-existent. The orchestra has nothing to do with it and it can be heard.
Interpretation: The singer's voice is excellent, but used poorly, without dynamics.
Score 4
Lara Fabian
Music: soul ballad with 2 well-placed themes, contrasting enough and made in a way that enhances the voice.
Arrangement: excellent. Sobriety, but present with an excellent blend for the strings and a choir used well, without being oppressive.
Interpretation: she sings well, places dynamics where they should be with a crystalline voice, well-used and never loud or exaggerated.
Score 8
Nek
Music: good song, well written. Not trivial melodic rock with the right dose of grit.
Arrangement: orchestration too poor and evanescent. Useless.
Interpretation: he knows how to sing and it shows. Not transcendental, but sufficient.
Score 6.5
Grazie Di Michele e Mauro Coruzzi
Music: a bit blues, a bit old-style jazz, but very well written. The second theme is beautiful, sufficiently different from the first.
Arrangement: perfect. Solo instruments used correctly, piano taking charge and strings blended perfectly.
Interpretation: Grazie is discreet, Mauro is a bit too "Alberto Lupo" but on his side he has a very beautiful and deep text.
Score 7
Annalisa
Music: themes too similar to each other, with the second one being too Modà and too shouted. The little group of notes repeated infinitely in the first theme creates extreme boredom.
Arrangement: little to nothing. Like water: it passes and leaves no mark.
Interpretation: monotonous. The voice is there but it's not right for this song.
