I am writing in this topic because it seems the most suitable for the subject. I would like to know what the best schools in Europe are for studying piano restoration and thus becoming a qualified technician. One could also do an apprenticeship with a licensed technician, but I was particularly interested in schools/academies, especially if you know of any (I imagine there are some in Germany/Netherlands).
As far as I know, there are no schools or academies on the subject in Europe. In America, PTG and in Europe, EUROPIANO provide training through courses and meetings. In Italy, there is AIARP, which annually organizes week-long gatherings reserved for members and enthusiasts. Start with a good book: Reblitz (in English)
