It's here now! ๐Ÿ™‚ :)

In the living room! Just looking at it... I'm THRILLED! ๐Ÿ™‚ :)

It arrived Saturday morning (what a beautiful Saturday)! The technician brought it up to the first floor using a piano dolly. Quite a sweat with tachycardia included, since in some spots he barely made it... anyway, all good!

It has been assembled.

Then came the best part... he removed the keyboard and began shaving the hammers with a wooden board and abrasive cloth, and while we were talking, he was giving the hammers the right (I hope) shape.

Subsequently, he used a finer sheet of sandpaper to finish the job. The next phase saw him busy with the alignment of the hammers. The tuning was done almost entirely by ear (I couldn't follow him much).

Afterward, he moved on to hammer voicing. (200 euros including transport with piano dolly)

The technician seemed prepared to me and, according to him, he continues to read and consult with his colleagues to improve!!

The shaving seems to have been done well, the voicing a little less so, since some notes could be improved (at this price!!)

Maybe at a later time I will call him back to have him redo the tuning and point out which notes I don't like.

I am still puzzled by the excessive hardness of the keyboard, which does not sink with 70g. This will definitely be an intervention to be carried out!

Overall I am satisfied and I thank everyone, in particular Paolo and Simone for the help!

Oooooo what a show. Best wishes!! But now, at the very least, we expect a nice video where you play this beautiful piano and let us hear what it's made of!!

Best wishes again!

Thanks to everyone for the wishes!

As soon as I can I will make a video but I don't have a camera... I'll have to borrow one ๐Ÿ™‚ :) ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I am examining the action to try to understand the reason for some of my sensations! I will certainly pose questions in the appropriate section as soon as I have deciphered everything.

A big hello!!
