Hello, I have a parlor grand piano (155cm) with a Schwander action from circa 1920, Koch & Korselt brand. I have "adjusted" the hammer-to-string heights, the escapements, etc..
Resting distance: 4.3mm
"after the escapement": 3mm in the bass, 2mm in the mids and highs.
Do you think these are okay?

The hammers are its originals, shaved.... Or new? Because in the first hypothesis, the hammer-to-string distance seems a bit short to me (assuming you meant 43 mm).
In the event that the hammers are new.....? One must see which hammers they have installed and at what height they drilled; if the hole is lower than it should be, it is necessary to reduce the hammer-to-string distance to make the action work.... which also results in being more .... laborious .... In short, on period instruments, there are more aspects to evaluate.
I would set the escapement at a constant 2 mm (equal to the radius of the string on the thick bass strings, more abundant) and the let-off at 4 mm... The repetition spring should be a single leaf, with the adjustment screw.
Then, from this situation, you can evaluate other settings.
