Good morning,

I am a pianist and I live in Milan,
I am selling my Bösendorfer 200 kept in perfect condition.
The instrument was only used for a few years in my youth to prepare for final conservatory exams and some competitions; since then, I have only played it occasionally, having taken a career path different from music.
The piano can be viewed in Milan city for any testing or appraisal.
Greetings to all Musicians!

Good morning,

it would be interesting to know if the piano has been tuned recently or if it has undergone technical interventions in recent years.

It is a highly sought-after instrument, especially for those who care about the timbral aspect.

Good morning,

I confirm that the piano has never undergone technical interventions in its entire life and is in excellent condition from a mechanical point of view because it has been played very little, always and only by me.

In 1979, I felt the need for a grand piano and went to the Piatino Pianoforti shop in Turin where I tried many pianos (Steinway, Bechstein, Bösendorfer and other brands) and chose the Bösendorfer because I found its timbre to be superior to all the other brands.

I played it from 1979 to 1981 for the preparation of some piano competitions and the 8th-year conservatory exam. After that, I dedicated myself to scientific studies and corporate work until 2013, when I resumed playing to prepare for the diploma exam taken in early 2014.

In essence, the piano was used continuously during the years 1979-1981 and in the year 2013; for the rest of the time, it has been used very, very sporadically.
The last tuning was performed by Griffa Pianoforti in Milan in 2013, and since then the piano has maintained a good state of tuning.

As I was telling you, the piano is here at my house, available for any test or appraisal.

Thank you for your attention
Have a good day

Good morning,

it seems like an interesting offer... but the last tuning dates back to 2013, which was quite a long time ago.

I hope the wood hasn't suffered too much from humidity over all these years...

Good morning,

I would be curious to know if the owner has kept the original documentation of the instrument.

Considering the age, it would be useful to understand if the original tuning has been maintained or if modifications have been made to the regulation.

Good morning Roberto

he no longer answered my question.

if the piano is still available, could you please let me know what the asking price is?

I would be interested because I love that piano, but I need to understand if it fits within

my budget

Good morning,

it would be useful to know if the owner has kept the original manuals... or if there are documents regarding the maintenance of the wood.

Without a recent tuning, it is difficult to evaluate the real state of the mechanics :)
