Shape Rotation

If I have framed the issue correctly, it is a way of writing. Basically, the major scale is constructed from 2 specular tetrachords: “Do re mi fa” and “So la si do"

This means that the intonation of both is identical, so, at the level of signs (notes), the 2 tetrachords can be represented in an equivalent way.

Therefore, there will be 4 symbols for the sounds of the first tetrachord and the same ones (varied slightly) for the second … a bit like what happened in the time of Guido d'Arezzo during the mutations in solmization.

There are a lot of popular melodies written with those symbols, or rather written with traditional notes and with the addition of this writing system that allows those who do not know music to still sing simple melodies.
